We are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new again but we remain committed to keeping everyone as safe as possible especially our patients and so a few things to let you know:
- We will be offering 3 rooms at any one time - at least one of which will be a twin or double
- We ask that you do not travel by public transport
- Please wear your own mask when around other people
- If you wish to access the Chapel during your stay you will need to be able to safely use steps outside from the Fire Exit on the corridor in Boarbank - there will be no internal access via the Nursing Home or Terrace at all.
- If we have an outbreak you will be expected to leave immediately please.
- Please do not arrive if you have been to a hospital for any reason within 2 weeks of your stay - please let us know
- Please bring your own books as they cannot be shared and no communal books are allowed.
If you are still reading and still interested we will be very pleased to hear from you
Please CONTACT US for reservations and information.
We are cautiously optimistic as we all move gently forward taking care of one another, near and far and we remain very grateful to all our benefactors for their continued generosity to us.
I am sure you will be aware that the situation can change almost overnight, and that we may need to revise these arrangements at short notice.
It is, as always, a great encouragement and source of comfort to us to know that we are being thought about, prayed for and supported in practical ways.
We assure you that all families, friends and benefactors are in our thoughts and prayers each day.
We all remain safe and well and hope and pray that you do too.
May the Lord bless you all abundantly as only He can.
With our love
Sr Eileen and the Sisters
Once again, we would like to say an enormous and heartfelt thank you to all our staff, who have worked so hard, and taken such great personal care, to ensure that we have all stayed safe and well so far - thanks be to God. Their team spirit has been wonderful, under very difficult circumstances.

We have been taking advantage of lockdown to make the place look as nice as possible when you able to return - Derek has been busy repainting, and the gardeners have been replanting the beds. The Sisters have been sorting out the archives and tidying rooms that haven’t been sorted out for some time. One of us has even emptied her email inbox!
