When: 13th-18th May 2024
By popular demand...
A retreat and holiday for (potential) birdwatchers...
We’ve had a lot of visitors to the Guest House who are interested in sharing our life of prayer, and also in birdwatching.
Quite a few are just starting to be interested in birds and would like to find out more.
So we are offering a few days to combine the two. Suitable for birding beginners (with a focus on learning birdsong).
We will share our expertise, together with a mix of shared prayer, fresh air, a modicum of exercise, good food and good company.
How could you resist?
Open to beginners and experienced birdwatchers alike.
Who will lead it?
Sr Margaret Atkins of the Boarbank Augustinian Community, teaches and writes on theological and ethical themes, including the theology of creation.
She has been birdwatching in this area all her life.
All our residential events include opportunities for:
*Daily Mass
*Shared Morning, Evening and Night Prayer
*Quiet personal reflection
*Shared meals and social time
*Exploring the local area
