Better Together 2026 – Religious Communities Caring for the Sick – Book Now for April 28th

TUESDAY 28th – THURSDAY 30th APRIL

The RCCS (Religious Communities Caring for the Sick ECHO Network has met at 08.00 am for one hour, roughly monthly, since April 2019. We were able to continue to support one other throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and we have now met over 60 times in total.

Topics discussed have been wide-ranging, clinical, organisational, and spiritual, covering caring for the dying; future care planning; spirituality of ageing; collaborative working; funding; healthy eating; grief and bereavement; happiness; sensory impairment; meaningful activity; Covid-19; regulatory frameworks; older age; sleep, rest & recreation and many more. Famous guest speakers such as Kathryn Mannix (author), David Unwin (GP), Baroness Hollins (Books without Words) have added to the richness of the content.

This two days ‘Better Together’ is a result of the group wanting to meet face to face, get to know each other better, share (physical and spiritual) nourishment, mutual support and time. We know that, in that sharing, we will flourish. This will be the fourth Better Together Conference that has been held and will concentrate on the theme of ‘Flourishing: Living life to the full’. We are pleased to welcome anyone who might be interested in finding out more about us and possibly joining the regular group.
